Directions from the north:

Go South on I-95- take the Baltimore exit up onto I-495 heading East. Take the first exit on I-495- Van Dorn Street. Turn right off the Van Dorn ramp at the stop light. Proceed on Van Dorn crossing over Franconia, passing Edison High School on your left and down into the Kingstowne's Community Center and Pool on your right. Turn right onto Kingstowne Blvd at the 2nd stop light. Then turn left onto Sir Viceroy Dr at the light between the Kohl's and Walmart and then at the first stop sign turn right onto King Centre Dr. The property is on your left.

Directions from the south:

Head north on I-95 to the Interchange of I-495. Take I-495 heading east towards Baltimore. Once you are on I-495 heading East- take the first exit- Van Dorn- and make a right at the stop light. Proceed on Van Dorn crossing over Franconia, passing Edison High School on your left and down into the Kingstowne's Community Center and Pool on your right. Turn right onto Kingstowne Blvd at the 2nd stop light. Coming from US Route 1: Whether coming from the North on US 1 or coming from the South on US 1- take the ramp onto I-495 for Richmond South. Proceed past the Telegraph Road Exit and the Eisenhower Exit and take the Van Dorn Exit which crosses up and over I-495. Stay in your right lane and turn right on Van Dorn Street at the stop light. Proceed on Van Dorn crossing over Franconia, passing Edison High School on your left and down into the Kingstowne's Community Center and Pool on your right. I moved from another storage and I was so glad to find this place. I wanted a place that was neat, reasonable price and in a convenient location, and it had everything I was looking for. Great Service!

The ladies in the front office did a great job with my rushed request and ensured that all my needs were met. They have advanced contract signing procedures using Docusign software; the explanation of the contract, and what it is EXACTLY that you are signing, is done well, without all the talking down or rushing that normally accompanies a multi-paged waiver contract. Overall, Great Job! Now if only I could get them to help me load and unload my unit everytime I visit!!

After 6 years...

First, on my initial visit to Extra Space Storage the personnel were and still are very friendly (newcomer to the area), and made me feel welcome (I knew immediately these are the kind of people I want to do business with...). Next, when I stated my storage needs, they provided great options for me to choose from... After a while my storage needs changed, Extra Space Storage, again, provided great options to satisfy my changed storage needs. And, the personnel are still friendly and helpful!

Love the light in the storage space

The light in the storage room is so nice and helpful. the days are shorter so having the ability to see in the unit after 5:00pm is great

This facility is affordable, safe and clean & the staff is great!

I needed short term storage while making space in my attic and I found this place was the best in the area. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I was a little nervous about using a storage unit until I saw how clean and bright the office and the units were kept. The staff even remembered me when I came in to pay each month which was very affordable. I will recommend this business to anyone who needs "extra storage" space.

Spotless modern facility, professiona and courteous staff, 2 blocks from home, what's not to like?

The facility at King Centre Dr is so close to home I have walked home after storing my car there. The office is brignt, modern and staffed with courteous, efficient people. Several times the main entrance gate was left open, but it is possible facility personnel were working in the area or at least monitoring the entrance.

This is a clean, relatively inexpensive and close facility.

This storage facility is close to where I live. They're clean and convenient and fairly inexpensive. They've boxes and supplies available. The set up of the account was fairly quick and painless and I can pay online. Nice!

Convenient to Kingstowne

Overall, the facility is convenient to Kingstowne, provides the expected level of service, has carts available to facilitate getting things to and from your storage space, and convenient hours of gate operation. The only downside was a bit of water leakage from outside the facility into my storage locker (on an exterior wall), but due to the nature of the packaging of my things, there were no actual issues. The water intrusion was probably due to the heavy winds/rains associated with Irene that may have allowed water to enter under the eaves rather than a common problem.
